RETORICAL Question

WTF is up with TV lately? OK so I will admit that age might be a factor here but common the amount of shows that got canceled after only one season recently is UNREAL. Makes me wonder just who these people are that decide the fate of a show and what they are smoking. AND don't even get me started on SYFY!! "Imagine greater" MY ASS!!! Here is a channel that seems totally devoted to pissing off the Science Fiction fan base.

Ahh so it isn't an "age thing" lol and your son has a point. SGU had finally begun to pick up pace and just when it got good it got canceled. Other shows they make us wait for ever in the middle of a season only to turn around and give a half ass "ending" Like Caprica. And what about V? I for one thought things were going great and then bang in the middle of the second season. Cant wait to see how they will screw us over with Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome.

Too bad you can't get the Space Channel(Canada's answer to SYFY)They cover a lot of the good stuff like Stargate, Star Trek(all). Dr Who, Torchwood etc. http://www.spacecast.com/

TV just plain sucks anymore. If I haven't seen the program they are showing, I've seen the original of the program that they are making a remake about. Where is the writer's creative juices????

lot of young people just dont watch tv anymore. its an outdated platform if you ask me.

Not sure if what I heard about the show is correct but if it is then the notion of going waaayyyy back in time, staring over on our own planet and fixing something that if they succeed never happened..... The whole time paradox thing

Anyway I will at least wait to see if the show survives its first season before I even think about watching it.

looking at reviews it looks promising,also it's from stephen spielberg so i think it will make series 2.

Bob,,shut up. Terra Nove is an awesome show and a few selected people went back in time to start a new civilization with a few glitches tossed in.... Not a bad show, I like it, so they will probbaly take it off the air.....

I watched a bit of Terra Nova and thought it was ok, did seem like a bit of a mashup of Lost and Jurassic Park though, and I've never been that keen on dinosaurs. I agree though TV is generally crap, the main things I watch at the moment are NCIS, Castle and Fringe.
