lets lay morbid to rest

Ok guys i spoke to kami about this,there are just a couple of us left in morbid that use the tag or actually play. Nobody uses the forum either i suggest we disband morbid once and for all,seems clans have died a death in this day and age, morbid and 5nutl should combine to make 1 gaming clan,we are both trying to recover after finishing playing a major game us bf2 5ntul wot, no leaders no rules just play games and have fun.

I reckon we should become a community called "FUBAM" - fucked up beyond all morbidity

Hey I just got around now... but then again... I don't come here on a daily basis...

And I do come on a daily basis!

We have a motion to disband morbid clan made by bolter and, if I understand Kami's reply correctly, seconded by Kami.

So IMHO a vote by the clan officers seems to be called for. Members are highly encouraged to comment.

Usually I like to see myself as the one who follows the more cold factual line of reasoning but this time I have a hard time doing that. So all I will say is this: I concur with bolters analysis of morbids state and will support any majority decision by the other officers of morbid.


BTW: This thread should be in the members section.

It was going great guns when AIX was going strong but kind of fizzled after that. I think we all had our own interests. Things like that happen.

I am unsure if another game will be along soon that would have such an effect

It is true we don't have a common game ATM. And no real game looks to be coming our way.

I was hoping back then GW2 would be it, but that (for me) proved nothing but a dissapointment.

That being said I still enjoy the talks we have on the Team-FUBAR TS
and believe it or not, when I see Bolts or Kami playing the zombie game I still think about joining them now and again. Good thing for me Ian, Burt or Marcus are around to draw me into something else :-)

Maybe we can put the clan in the freezer instead of just disbanding?? Let's hit the pauze button untill we find a game we enjoy together again.
How about that? If needed we hit play again, if not well... pauze is better than eject...

I would of got GW2, but funds have prevented me getting it (at the moment). Hopefully I can be in a position soon to have a more stable online gaming life (lol)

we have tried games together but not to everybodys taste ie killing floor , bad company
gw2, nothing is gonna come along anytime soon it's either fps or mmo seems thats all

Well, this idea of joining the 2 clans has been suggested before and voted down. As for disbanning morbid, that's the leaders call. I mostly plat WoT and none of you do, so that's that. I do check the forum weekly and have seen no new content weeks in a row. If you find a cool shoot'em up game let me know and I'll give it a try.

I agree with bolter, we cant really be a clan if there are no games to play as a clan.
We need to make a Gaming community (fubar + morbid) (if fubar agrees that is).

But my name will probably stay the same as im using it everywhere.
And whatever happens my TS will always be there (unless i fuck up my servers (again))

Thats true but that was with 5thnl, Fubar looks like a gaming community, not a clan focusing on one game. so i think it would work, besides we are all using the same TS anyway so it would all just be a formality.

im hoping we can merge morbid and fubar as we both dont have a specific game but we do have the same teamspeak and we all play together a lot. the servers will stay but they might need a name change.

if everybody is in agreement i cant see the problem,a gaming community sounds better
than a clan maybe a steam gaming community aswell since we all use it.

Well, we all know, I am not in agreement but, I am just a low person on the totem pole so my vote doesn't count. Like Gunner said it is up to the admins of the clan.

We are and have been a multinational bunch of (mostly) adult people who happen to spend way too much time on their PS's / Internet.
We mostly met over games that we happened to play at the time and sort of grew on each other. At the moment we lack a particular game we all can play BUT why does that automatically mean we have to kill morbid with its more than a decade long history??? For all intents and purposes morbid clan has become a gaming community long ago. So all that seems to be required is to officially say so and decide what / if any changes should be done.

I have not quit W-o-T, the signature link has been wiped out is all. I will fix my sig asap. I do enjoy reading the morbid forum and occasionally chatting with other morbid members. So, live on morbid.
