How to add skins

(i choose a KV skin for this tutorial.)


HOW TO INSTALL A SKIN
when u download the skin its usually in a rar file.
1. unzip it and you will have 1 or 2 .dds files (KV.dds)


then its time to search for the tank in the game folder

2. first go to the game main directory
C:\Games\World_of_Tanks_closed_Beta

3. then click on "res" followed by "vehicles"
C:\Games\World_of_Tanks_closed_Beta\res\vehicles

4. then you have to pick the nation, in my case Russian, then select the tank you want to edit.
(in my case RO5_KV)
C:\Games\World_of_Tanks_closed_Beta\res\vehicles\russian\R05_KV

5. open the tank folder and there will be 4 folders and 4 .dds files.
copy and paste your skin to the folder and replace the old one.



then start the game and it should be there................ cant be asked to edit that typo
