Has anyone updated Steam lately? I just had to and now I have to install all of my games again. They are still installed in my folders but I cant play until Steam redoes them...If you have the choice do not update

I got a message saying something was not compatible with steam and I had to update steam and the message kept coming as I was trying to play. It was annoying, so I updated and now I have to reinstall...
