-SOS- is Dead

This should make you all happy... I've disbanned the -SOS- clan. Jambo has started a new clan, but the hated -SOS- clan is dead.

Never hated SoS! But it wasn't named after a nutty buttery spread, which obviously is awesome

Not even I hated it. I just thought it was a bad idea to make a completely new clan instead of naming it morbid.. I do not wish harm onto anyone.. I do wish you the best of luck with the new clan.. Yes, I am being sincere..

Don't know where this so called "hatred" for SoS supposedly came from, but if I remember it correctly the restrictions in WoT made it impossible to use "morbid" as a tag as it was too long. We tried to come up with alternatives but failed so eventually SoS was created and we sort of came to the understanding that SoS was morbids WoT branch. So I at least understood SoS to be part of morbid. Meaning it was made up of morbid members. That obviously went out of the window when people out of WoT showed interest in joining (SoS) and to be honest if you look at it from an "outsiders" perspective it is hard to explain why he/she needs to join what appears to be two clans. Especially if by then seasoned morbids began to see them as different clans as well.

Well it is certainly a mood point now so I just thought I would make my personal view on this mess known.

I am a member of morbid clan, this is where my online gaming home is.
I happen to play WoT but due to the reasons explained above using the morbid tag is impossible thus I use the SoS or now the 5th NUTL however, for me that tag ONLY has relevance in WoT.
I will try my utmost to remain impartial towards towards any morbid member or in regards to any dispute between members (unless personally involved or actual clan interests are involved).

Recent developments in the anti cheating community and the fact that morbid no longer operates a BF2 related server have rendered the justification for my admin ship useless and I gladly revert to a "normal" member status.

well i still play world if tanks (no tag ) now, i enjoy it but not to play 24/7.
and as for having any dispute with any ex-members there are none here

The "dispute" comment was aimed more towards the future.

As far as actual gaming goes I'm kind of undecided at the moment. WoT is fun but same as you I can't play it all the time and I think the Battlefield Series is behind me. I got some new games but so far have nothing has struck a nerve. Who knows maybe I'll give GW2 a try; not quite desperate enough yet though

Bottom line is just because I'm currently suffering from a certain "lack of faith" as far as games go should be no reason for concern.

I have tried several new games (which I bought and some downloaded for free) and I haven't found one that I liked even half as much as I like BF2 AIX. I'll keep searching for a fun first person shooter game.

AIX was special - it rejuvanated BF2 for me, which I used to play all the time. Good times

Just a small update to my statement above: As a purely technical result of the thread about clan tags on 5NUTL's forum I have dropped the 5NUTL tag.

but wot i wanted to say was gunner get blitzkrieg for coh its awesome
new vehicles and troops make it great to play again.

Sorry to see you go and I understand and support your decision.

I am as well, as I do support both the clans and hope them both the best, I just support morbid more thats all! At the end of the day, it just depends on how much you play WoT

Hey, I have cut down my W-o-T time, I am now the proud owner of Duke Nukem Forever (it was only 19.00 USD, a little over 10 pounds).

I enjoy it, I get to run around killing aliens, messing around with women, and solving problems to get out of an area. There is a multiplayer option that I haven't tried yet, I may look into that soon.

I played the demo and it seemed quite fun, but like Bolts said it gots so much bad press it put me off.

Since the bad reviews, the price has really come down, so now would be a good time to buy it and try it out. Like I said before, it only cost me $19.99 USD which is about 11.00 pounds for you. Think it over and maybe we could try the multiplayer out together.
